David is a freelance joureyist. Yes, Journey-ist. He is traveling the United States, “…to set up a fund-raiser to build a neurological research and teaching hospital.”
On a recent trip through Metro-Atlanta, he stopped at the Psychological Sciences Institute (PSI), headed by the founder of Innovative Health Foundation, Dr. David Cantor. He was so impressed by the work Dr. Cantor is doing.
Emch writes, “[The professionals at PSI]…look at the whole patient, and have staff and facilities designed to investigate and deal with all of the various aspects of a patient’s illness.”
He was impressed by many aspects of the facility and staff with emphasis on PSI’s deployment of Quantitative Electroencephalography (qEEG), an analysis of what’s going on in a child’s brain before and after neurofeedback. This cutting-edge technology reinforces the healthcare professional's ability to tailor therapy to each child's needs.
But his praise does not stop there. Read more or what he's written at his blog posting.
We at IHF applaud Mr. Emch’s efforts and his quest. We are following his travels and his progress via his blog, and we hope you do, too.
